Specialist ICT Teachers

Ashik Junglee's team - Challenger wants us to remain as Specialist ICT Teachers so as to continue reducing the workload of GP teachers.

well me i prefer to remain ICT Teacher even though the authorities hav no considerations for our job as we are paid for nothing as what is the use of killing ourselves to make the kids undertstand while the subject is not even comptabilise for any examinations. if it was counted we wil hvae seen the fruit of our work but it is not the case as we are just victims of the government as they are using us to blind the eyes of people. nothing is being done to improve our conditions of work as they are making no effort to do it so is it really necessary to be a permanent ICt Teacher my answer is no as better be umemployed rather than to do that job. we can't even change as we are bonged to the govt. be courageous folks still some months to go.........

i think we are all wondering what will happen by end Apr 2006.. Specialist ICT Teacher or GP teacher? Do you guys think we'll still be teachers? we dont have any kind of choice.we'll have to do what they'll say.Its a contract. Replying to ur ques: y should we be GP teacher(Re-training n all that)Its better if we have our lab n be an ICT teacher.

We are left with just one year of our contract and our working conditions are same and we don't even have a real status. Since we sign a contract, we cant blame the government. If we get the chance of securing the job being Specialist ICT Teachers i think we should accept instead being unemployed or becoming Gp teachers. We just don't have any choice. We have to accept the beast alter natives.

The government is fooling us the ICT teachers. Its the uniion work to see that ICT teachers remain ICT teachers and do not become unemployed. Ict lab attandant in all school and labs in all schools are to be made available
